A baby story - about my ratties! Watch eight wonderful ratlets from their birth on Aug. 18th, 2005, to their adoption to new mommies and daddies (and maybe beyond, if we're lucky!).
The fuzz butts are all wound up and running wild now! Last week their eyes opened, and within two days they were ready to explore the world. Now they want to go everywhere and see everything! Here are some pictures of tonight's explorations on the family couch:

I'm a 30-yr-old woman who's had a unique life so far. I've been a soldier, peacenik, punk and world traveller. I'm a unique person who stands out in a crowd. Life-wise if it's unusual or challenging, it'll usually happen to me; for example, I spent a year in Iraq, had non-stop hiccups over a year, and recently recovered from Rat Bite Fever (another rare illness). So, hopefully some of the stuff that's "normal" for me, will be interesting to you.
